In this day and age 75% of people have either heard of Amazon or purchased from Amazon at some point. What most people experience is the seamless experience they receive when making purchases with amazon and the convenience of having it delivered right to your door. This makes Amazon the top online shopping platform.
Amazon has commission rates of anything from 4% to 10% due to the quantity you are selling and the volume you are selling. More websites = more affiliate income!
The standard Amazon affiliate link gives you 24 hours for a customer to make a purchase, in order for you to earn a commission. This means that if a customer clicks your link and orders ANYTHING (almost anything), within a 24 hour window, you’ll earn a commission on those items. It’s a universal cookie, meaning that even if the customer clicks through your link to view a video game, but ends up buying a new bedding set, some cleaning supply, and a leash for their dog, you’ll get paid for all of those items.
Sometimes though, a customer doesn’t immediately order a product, especially if it’s a high-ticket item. To make up for this, Amazon will extend your cookie by another 89 days if the customer adds a product to their cart. In other words, if they add it to the cart and then leave Amazon, you’ve got 89 more days to hope they come back and finish checking out.
This screenshot shows 1 day sales of 1 website. If you look at the “Ordered Through Product Links” column, you will notice there are only 3 products out of 11 were purchased through our product links on our Amazon affiliate website. Rest of the sales’ commissions occured because of the 24 hr cookie.
If 1 visitor goes to Amazon through one of your links and generate 9 sales, can you imagine the passive income when you have lots of Amazon affiliate sites? Having multiple Amazon affiliate sites is the best way to increase the affiliate revenue. That’s why we created some packages for you!
